

Then install the printer for that user and point the driver to that folder, unless the installer detects it. User an administrator account login details and let it finish. Then locate that driver and press and hold CTRL+SHIFT then right-click the driver installer, and choose "Run as different user"

You want to do it manually, yourself.**ĭownload the driver to the download folder (or somewhere that you can find it without having to waste time searching), and DO NOT RUN IT. **Before re-adding, try to add it directly without the computer grabbing the drivers and such from the print server. Or completely uninstall the printer and drivers.

That will tell you if it is profile related or OS, or narrow down at least. See if it works in another windows profile. Log into the troubled computer as an administrator, and try to install the printer with a new driver for that printer.
